Untitled

watercolour and pastels on paper

In this piece, I unravel the delicate threads of womanhood, maternal instinct, and the echoes of my past self. I find myself forever looking back—an older version of me, guiding a younger self. Between us lies a silent, gray space, a liminal pause where time and emotion blur. In this space, I search for her—the child within me —while carrying the weight of a mother's love. In many ways, I have become my own mother, nurturing myself through the moments where no one else could. This work is a visual conversation between the past and present, a meditation on the fragile balance between nurturing and being nurtured, and the quiet yearning to reconnect with what was left behind.
