Womb of Light I, 2025

Oil on Canvas
24 × 30 in

Womb of Light I reflects on the unseen labor of emotional and spiritual becoming. In this first state, transformation moves inward, drawing from the divine feminine as a space of holding, healing, and quiet power. The figure exists in retreat, away from visibility and external validation, where energy gathers before it seeks expression. Rest becomes alert rather than passive: a sustained attention through which inner life begins to reorganize. The work frames containment as generative, not restrictive. What is held here is a form of light not yet ready to enter the world.
