Born of Sea and Sky, 2024
Oil on Canvas
Born of Sea and Sky reflects on the meeting point between elements, where orientation begins to dissolve. The horizon is not treated as a division, but as a threshold where waterand air fold into one another. Within this convergence, origin becomes less a fixed point than a continuous condition — an ongoing interaction between forces that shape, dissolve, and renew. The work considers creation as something active and unfinished, held open by movement between depth and vastness. Rather than presenting birth as a single moment, the painting frames it as a state of emergence that remains alive and unresolved.
